Razorbacks Offering Accountability Resources
About Our Program

Check out our new video!

ROAR is a new, registered student organization on campus and is the result of a $30,000 NCAA/Budweiser grant awarded to the University of Arkansas. The goal of ROAR is to create student-led initiatives (e.g., public service announcements, bystander intervention, engaging and interactive events and speakers, involvement with Greek life during alcohol awareness week and sober spring break) that reduce alcohol misuse and abuse behaviors among a variety of student populations.  ROAR members will be involved in a campus-wide effort to help University of Arkansas’ students make better choices regarding alcohol usage. SOOIE Involvement Awards Banquet & ROAR at the Hog Pen!

ROAR won two awards and was nominated for four other awards at the SOOIE Involvement Awards Banquet! And towards the end of the semester, we partnered with Razorback Baseball and passed out 1,000 water bottles to students in the Hog Pen promoting our “Got Water?” initiative.

It was a great way to end the semester and transition the new executive team in!
